| Backyard Resort |

My parents have an incredible backyard that they've slowly built up by hand over the course of 25 years. It's truly paid off- the place is gorgeous. Not only does mom have a green thumb she also has a great sense of design. This leads to beautiful flower arrangements, landscaping, and accents. Dad designed and put in a built-in bar and grill, complete with utility and accent lighting. The grill is seriously awesome.
They laid a flagstone patio and walkway to the back of the yard where dad put in a hot tub that's practically at bath house. He did have the spa and structure delivered, but he poured the concrete, ran the electrical conduit, and installed a ceiling fan, accent lights, stereo, speakers, TV, and DVD player. It's pimp.
I've helped here and there, but it's largely them, and something they're quite proud of, so they asked if I could take photos. Since I was going over to have my dad's homemade fried chicken I grabbed a few shots before dinner-

Cheryl chose this fantastic chapel for her wedding- White Chapel Estate & Gardens, in North Richland Hills. You can tell the owners are passionate about creating a venue that's ripe for a storybook wedding.
One of the great features is that there is a spiral staircase that leads down from a balcony at the back of the chapel, which is where the bride enters from. We wanted to showcase this in her portrait, since that was such an important feature to Cheryl.
The chapel has these gorgeous, frosted windows, which let in this fantastically smooth light.
I can't wait for the wedding! Just a few weeks away! |
